# Set up MetaMask

## Step 1: Download MetaMask

If you're using a computer and Google Chrome, use [this link](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/metamask/nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn?hl=en) to install MetaMask as a browser extension. If you're using Firefox, you should use [this link](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ether-metamask/) instead. Once you've got MetaMask downloaded and installed, you'll need to setup your wallet.

## Step 2: Configure Wallet

Once you've installed MetaMask, you should be given the option to create or import your wallet. If you already have MetaMask on another device, or if you already have seed words, you can restore your wallets by entering those seed words when prompted.

If you do not have an existing wallet, you can create one by tapping "Create Wallet". NOTE: You will need to make sure that if you create a new wallet, you take note of the secret phrase in a secure (and preferrably offline) method and means.
